The ergonomic CABBOX wiring station is designed for assembling and packaging junction boxes, allowing you to create a structured octopus directly at the workstation. It uses an interchangeable magnetic plate, selected according to the box model, to hold the box firmly in place and ensure more precise and consistent wiring. Ergonomics is at the heart of the design: tools remain within easy reach, the height is adjustable for working in a seated or standing position, and a removable tool holder facilitates access and handling. For packaging, the CABBOX incorporates a rotating wiring bowl that accompanies the winding process, as well as notches and a tying area with an integrated cut-out for quickly attaching the octopus without changing work areas. Finally, a collection tray under the bowl collects scraps and shavings from stripping, keeping the workstation clean.

The operator positions the sheaths in the wiring bowl, selects the magnetic plate suited to the box model, then wires with their tools within easy reach in a configuration designed to streamline movements and ensure a more precise, consistent and professional result.

CABBOX goes beyond a simple workstation: plans are loaded onto a touchscreen via the CABBOX software and, in production mode, files can be linked automatically to perform wiring tasks one after the other, without interruption or re-entry. This standardises the method and speeds up serial execution.

In terms of finishing, the rotating bowl naturally accompanies the winding process for repeatable packaging, while the notches and integrated binding area (with cutting at the station) allow for immediate binding without moving. Finally, scraps and shavings from stripping are directed into a collection tray to keep the workstation clean and organised.

To adapt to the workshop environment, the CABBOX is mobile on industrial castors, and its ergonomics are enhanced by adjustable height (sitting/standing positions) and a removable tool holder that facilitates organisation and handling of the workstation.
