The main purpose of the sheath banding machine is to tie a sheath to hold it in position before it is fitted to a junction box.
The banding machine is a semi-automatic Mecaspin unit used to tie together two components that need to be held in place. It can be used to tie spools, skeins or bundles of wires, cables and tubes. The banding machine is very easy to use. Operators can be trained in a few minutes. After positioning the material to be tied on the table surface, the operator presses the pedal to start a cycle.

The Mecaspin sheath banding machine is a semi-automatic unit designed to hold a sheath in position before it is fitted to a junction box. It can also be used to tie spools, skeins or bundles of wires, cables and tubes.
The operator positions the product on the table and then starts the cycle using a pedal or sensor. The tie is completed in less than 0.6 seconds. The machine has a refill capacity of 1,000 ties and accepts coils from 150 mm in diameter.
Compact, it measures 480 × 450 × 1,230 mm and weighs 4 kg. Its handling height is adjustable so that the workstation can be adapted to the operator’s working conditions.
