What is an electric sheath pre-strander?
A sheathing machine is a machine used to apply sheaths (or tubes) to electrical or optical wires or cables. It greatly streamlines the threading process by automating certain key steps, such as:
- Feeding: The machine can continuously feed wires or cables without needing to cut or stop them each time.
- Positioning: The pre-threading machine aligns the wires or cables within the sheath precisely and uniformly, thereby preventing errors caused by manual placement.
- Clamping: Thanks to its automatic clamping devices, the pre-threading machine holds the wires or cables firmly in place throughout the entire process, ensuring optimal work quality.
