Adapting a pre-wiring unit to Brazilian requirements
The project involved integrating an MS03 at the premises of a Brazilian client that wanted to automate high-speed sheath pre-wiring. This installation presented several challenges linked to local requirements: interfacing with specific software, more flexible wires and cables, and an ICTA sheath that differed from European standards. The MS03 therefore underwent specific adaptations and adjustments to ensure reliable operation and achieve the client’s target production rates in its production environment.

Background and requirements
The Brazilian client wanted to automate high-speed sheath pre-wiring in order to increase production capacity. The challenge was to achieve the target production rates despite the use of wires and cables that were more flexible than European standards and therefore more prone to jamming during pre-wiring.
The solution implemented
The client chose to integrate an MS03 machine adapted to its raw materials. Several specific modifications and adjustments were made to enable high-speed pre-wiring of these more flexible wires and cables. The machine therefore meets the specific requirements of the Brazilian market while enabling the client to automate production and make it more reliable.
